REFLECTIONS 2024-2025

Indian Trace Elementary PTA is excited to announce this year’s theme for the 2024-2025 Reflections National Art Competition: “Accepting Imperfection”

Submit your artwork and let’s put Indian Trace Elementary on the Reflections map once again!
The Deadline to submit your entry is November 6, 2024.

1. THEME | Create an original artwork inspired by this year’s theme: Accepting Imperfection

2. CATEGORIES & OFFICIAL RULES | Visit Florida PTA Reflections Art Program for complete details: www.floridapta.org/reflections-art-program. Be as creative as you want to be! You can submit pieces for more than one category. Click on any category below to download the official Guidelines per category (PDF).

   • Dance Choreography

   • Visual Arts

   • Music Composition

   • Photography

   • Film Production

   • Literature

   • Special Artist Division (Accessible Arts)

3. CREATE YOUR ORIGINAL ARTWORK

   • Draw, paint, make a collage, write something, take a photo, compose a song, choreograph a dance, or produce a video!

   • You may participate in one or more categories but remember: only one artwork per category.

   • Each original work must include:

     • Completed student entry form

     • Completed consent form

     • Artwork Title

     • Artist Statement: The artist statement explains what inspired the work and how it relates to the theme. Without a title and statement, your artwork cannot be entered into the competition.

     • These forms will be sent home by your child's teacher and are also available below

4. SUBMIT YOUR ENTRY BY NOVEMBER 6, 2024
   • One complete entry form is needed for each artwork.
   • Choose between these two options for submitting your work:

   • Option 1) Place entry form & artwork in a sealed envelope and drop it off at the front office. Write “Jessica Cooper/Reflections” on it.

   • Option 2) Send your entry form and original artwork digitally to: itereflections@gmail.com

5. WAIT FOR THE ANNOUNCEMENTS
   • Each artwork will be judged by professionals.
   • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each category will advance to the county competition.

Please read the rules carefully! Reach out with any questions or concerns. We want to make sure that every child who wants to participate can do so!

Indian Trace Elementary always has many winners who advance to the district, state and national level. We encourage all to enter and show their amazing skills and talents!
